The City of Thousand Oaks will host a free home electrification workshop on Thursday, Sept. 24, at the Grant R. Brimhall Library Community Room.

The interactive session will cover heat pumps, induction cooking and other electric home technologies that can improve indoor air quality and cut energy costs, the city said in an announcement on X on Thursday, Sept. 3. Attendees will also hear about available rebates and learn steps to begin upgrading their homes, according to a city Facebook post.

The library is at 1401 E. Janss Road in Thousand Oaks. The city's Sustainability Division, also known as GoGreen, is organizing the event and can be reached at [email protected] or (805) 449-7283.

Registration is available at toaks.gov/sustainabilityevents.
