Amgen will pay shareholders $2.52 per share in its fourth-quarter dividend, the Thousand Oaks biotech company announced Oct. 27.

The dividend will be paid on Dec. 11 to stockholders of record as of the close of business on Nov. 20, according to the company's press release. Amgen's board of directors approved the payout.

The amount matches the $2.52 per share Amgen paid in its third-quarter 2026 dividend, which was declared in July and paid on Sept. 11. A year earlier, the company's third-quarter 2025 dividend was $2.38 per share, according to Amgen's Q3 2025 earnings report.

That represents a per-share increase of 14 cents, or about 6%, from the year-ago quarter.

Q3 earnings on deck

The dividend news arrives days before Amgen reports third-quarter 2026 financial results on Tuesday, Nov. 3, after market close. The company said it will webcast the earnings conference call live on its investor relations page.

Analysts tracked by Zacks Investment Research estimate Amgen will post third-quarter 2026 sales of $9.95 billion and earnings of $5.74 per share, Yahoo Finance reported. In the third quarter of 2025, Amgen reported total revenues of $9.6 billion, a 12% increase over the same period in 2024.

Robert A. Bradway, Amgen's chairman and chief executive officer, said in the Q3 2025 earnings release that the company "delivered strong volume growth" that quarter. Sixteen Amgen products posted double-digit sales growth in that period, including Repatha, Evenity and Tezspire.

Investors will also be watching for updates on MariTide, Amgen's pipeline drug candidate for obesity, according to the Zacks analysis.
